- Residential/Light Commercial Experience
- Certified or certifiable as a secondary CTE instructor
- Graduate of a 2-year associate degree program or higher preferred
- Able to successfully pass Maine State Criminal Background Check

The CTE CDL/Logistics Program is designed to provide instructional support to assist the student in the process of successfully obtaining the Commercial License for a Class B and Class A vehicle, with a secondary emphasis on logistics practices, business planning and financial awareness.

Qualifications:

- Should hold a current class A CDL license with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience.
- Will be required to hold a current state of Maine driver education instructor license Class 1 CDL-A or be able to obtain the license prior to starting the school year.
- Will be required to hold the Department of Education 806 - Truck-Bus Driving GRADES 6-12 credential or be able to obtain the credential within three years of employment.
- Will need to pass the MSSC Logistics I and Logistics II courses within the first semester.
- Should be familiar in forklift operation and seek instructor certification.

These are skilled Firefighting and EMS positions consisting of EMS responsibilities, both Emergency and non-emergency, as well as combating, extinguishing, and preventing fires. These roles involve responding to a wide range of fire suppression and medical emergencies to ensure the stability and safety of our community.

The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and possess and maintain a valid State of Maine Class C operator's license. A Fire or EMS-related Associate Degree, and a Maine EMT-A or Paramedic license are preferred. Candidates with AEMT who intend to obtain a Paramedic qualification are encouraged to apply. Additionally, a State of Maine Firefighter I/II certification is desired, including SCBA certification. Detailed job descriptions with certification requirements are available on our website. Schedules include up to 24/hr rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
